2026 Canada Day Service Level Changes
Wednesday, July 1 is Canada Day. The City of Lethbridge will have service level changes.
Lethbridge 311 & Breezy
The Lethbridge 311 contact centre is closed. Regular hours will resume on Thursday, July 2, from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
311 in person at City Hall is closed. Regular hours will resume on Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
However, Breezy never sleeps! The City’s 311 chatbot makes finding City information quick, easy and hassle-free. Breezy is ready to help… anytime… day or night!

City Hall is closed. Regular hours will resume on Thursday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Waste and Recycling
The Waste and Recycling Centre is closed. Recycling stations at the three self-serve depots are open 24/7. The yard waste sites are open from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Residents who have residential curbside collection on Wednesdays are moved to Saturday, July 4.

Community Animal Services
Community Animal Services and the Lethbridge Animal Shelter is closed.
The public can access services on the website at any time including dog license payments, appointment booking, online complaint reporting and searching a list of found pets impounded at the shelter. For emergency animal control matters, call 403-320-4099.
Transit Service
Ride on Demand and Fixed Route transit schedules will run on Sunday service and will be free of charge all day. More information on Canada Day transit route and schedules (including extended service to Henderson Lake Park) can be found online.
The Lethbridge Transit customer service desk at City Centre station is closed.
Access-A-Ride
Access-A-Ride booking and customer service is closed.
Galt Museum & Archives/Fort Whoop-Up
The Galt Museum is open from 1 – 5 p.m.
Fort Whoop-Up is open from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Helen Schuler Nature Centre
The Helen Schuler Nature Centre is closed.
Lethbridge Public Library
All branches of the Lethbridge Public Library are closed.
