    Bear spray and blue carts are a ‘grizzly’ mix

    City staff at the Waste and Recycling Centre have seen an increase in hazardous materials received from residential blue carts in recent weeks. Multiple cans of bear spray have been found by staff in the last week, with one can rupturing. This caused an evacuation of the recycling facility, with some staff feeling the effects of the spray.
