Road construction at the Waste & Recycling Centre

A smoother drive is coming soon at the Waste & Recycling Centre (WRC).

Starting Sunday, August 23, construction will begin at the main intersection within the WRC and east road to the public and commercial drop-offs. The project will include excavation, base preparation and paving. This work is being done to improve flow throughout the site.

Access to the landfill, drop-offs, Blue Sky Centre and other facilities will be maintained. Customers are encouraged to budget extra time when visiting the WRC during construction. To minimize delays, some work is planned to take place outside of regular operating hours.

This project is expected to take five weeks, weather permitting.

Please drive with caution and follow directions from scale house attendants. We appreciate your patience while this work is completed.
