What to expect at next week's Community Conversation

There are lots of exciting things planned for the City’s Community Conversation on October 23 at the ENMAX Centre. The event will run from 3-7 p.m. and features more than 40 City project. Residents are invited to give feedback and learn about the things happening in our community.

  • Are you passionate about pets and public safety?
    Come chat about possible updates to the animal bylaw.
  • Finding your green cart a bit stinky?
    Talk with staff for ideas and tips to cut the stench.
  • Wondering how and why we set speed limits? Learn more from our transportation safety experts on the new playground harmonization project and 40km residential pilot.
  • Curious about changes to snow plowing coming this season? Our public operations team will be on-hand to fill you in on what to expect.

On a less serious note, there is also lots of fun to be had!

  • Free public skating with Sparky the Fire mascot
  • Prize draws including Lethbridge Hurricanes and Stars on Ice tickets
  • Free concession samples
  • Swag giveaways
  • Kids play with the Lethbridge Public Library
  • Snow plows and Fire equipment to explore
  • Meet Kourt, the service dog for Lethbridge Police Service Victim Services department

Complimentary electric vehicle (EV) charging will be available at all six ENMAX Centre charging stations to thank customers for their adoption of EVs.

This is a non-ticketed event so paid parking will not be enforced during the event time.
