    Lethbridge’s largest arena and entertainment centre is entering a new era with a new name: the VisitLethbridge.com Arena. 

  • Spitz Stadium retains its name with new sponsorship deal

    Lethbridge baseball fans will continue flocking to Spitz Stadium to cheer on their favourite teams, including the Lethbridge Bulls of the Western Canadian Baseball League. The facility has held the name since 2008.

    A new five-year, $250,000 sponsorship will see the ballpark keep its moniker through the 2029 season. The funding is coming from the founder of Spitz International, Thomas Droog.

  • Council approves funding request for Galbraith gymnasium

    When the modernization of a northside elementary school is complete, city residents will have expanded community use opportunities thanks to a funding commitment from the City of Lethbridge. Lethbridge City Council on Tuesday voted unanimously to approve a capital investment of $1.2 million for Lethbridge School Division to upsize the gymnasium at the soon-to-be modernized Galbraith School.
