The proposed Land Use Bylaw amendment would allow the development of two additional units in the basement of the existing building. 

The existing building currently has two units and is considered a duplex, and the rezoning proposal would allow the applicant to convert the existing building into a four-plex.

Amendment to Land Use Bylaw 6300 to rezone the parcel listed above within the Winston Churchill neighbourhood.

To: Direct Control (DC)

Anyone may submit a written submission or give a verbal presentation to a public hearing. Your comments must include your first and last name. Written comments must be received before 12:00 P.M. the Monday, 8-days before the public hearing is scheduled.

Written submissions by Monday, September 8, 2025.

Verbal presentations on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.

Any member of the public who wishes to participate in a Public Hearing may request to participate through electronic means by registering by email to cityclerk@lethbridge.ca. Those members of the public requesting to participate shall include in their request to participate their name and email address. Requestors are responsible to ensure that their technology and connectivity supports are adequate for their participation. 

Requestors will receive a link to the meeting no earlier than 24 hours prior to the hearing, and will be required to login and wait in the electronic lobby until entered into the Public Hearing prior to the hearing commencing.

Electronic participation requests must be submitted prior to Monday, September 15, 2025.
