City initiates legal proceedings

The City of Lethbridge has started legal proceedings in relation to advice given during the funding and development of the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre (now Lethbridge Trade & Convention Centre).

This step has been taken to protect the financial interests of Lethbridge residents and the municipality. The proceedings have been filed to protect the City’s legal position, and the lawsuit is early on in the proceedings.

Because the matter has been filed with the Court, the City will not be commenting any further.
