Commercial Collection Services

The City of Lethbridge offers a wide range of business waste collection options to suit any need. We offer a variety of container sizes from .36 cubic meter (large waste collection carts, such as those used for residential waste collection) to 4.5 cubic meter bins (6 cubic yard bins) with collection frequencies of twice a month to five times a week.

2026 Commercial Collection Service Rates

  • A surcharge will be assessed for each instance where a container provided to a commercial customer contains more than 25% non-recyclable material and where the non-recyclable material could be surcharged as per accordance with the City of Lethbridge Waste Bylaw, Schedule A, s. (13).

Additional Bin Fees

  • Delivery Fee - $90
  • Removal Fee - $90

Extra Pickup

The extra pickup charge for anyone receiving Commercial Collection is $90 per pickup.

 

Note: Overweight surcharge may apply to commercial/demolition bins. Bin weight is calculated at 100 kg per cubic meter.
