- Lethbridge City Council unanimously carried second and third readings to Bylaw 6483 - 2025 Property Tax and Supplementary Property Tax Bylaw. With a direct tie-in to the 2023-2026 City of Lethbridge Operating Budget, approved in November 2022, property tax rates for 2025 have now been set and notices will soon be sent to property owners in the city. - Council unanimously supported an Official Business Motion from Councillor Jenn Schmidt-Rempel and Councillor Ryan Parker to provide one-time funding of $10,000, from Council Contingencies, to the Southern Alberta Crime Stoppers. Any future budget requests will go to future budget deliberations
- Council carried second and third readings for Bylaw 6481, the 2025 Downtown Business Improvement Area Tax Rate Bylaw
- Council carried second and third readings for Bylaw 6482, the 2025 Tax Installment Pre-Payment Plan Bylaw
- Council carried first, second and third readings for Bylaw 6490, an Amendment to Bylaw 6146 - The Waste Bylaw
- Council carried first, second and third readings for Bylaw 6492 - Amendment to Procedure Bylaw 6250
- Council unanimously carried the 2025 TRIP Municipal Tax Cancellation Request
- Council unanimously carried the Industrial Municipal Tax Incentive (IMTI) 2025 Municipal Tax Cancellations
- Council unanimously carried the Rescindment of Youth Advisory Council Terms of Reference
- Following a Public Hearing, Council passed second and third readings for Bylaw 6479 – Land Use Bylaw Amendment re: Watermark Phase 1 (4015 25 St. W, 4040 10 St. W, 277 Rocky Mountain Blvd. W, 301 Rocky Mountain Blvd. W, 317 Rocky Mountain Blvd. W And 6000 University Dr W)
- Following a Public Hearing, Council passed second and third readings for Bylaw 6485 – Land Use Bylaw Amendment re: 1703 16 Avenue South
- Following a Public Hearing, Council passed second and third readings for Bylaw 6487 - Amendment to the River Valley Area Redevelopment Plan (RVARP)
- Following a Public Hearing, Council passed second and third readings for Bylaw 6472 – Land Use Bylaw Amendment re: Riverstone Phases 18 & 19
- A Recommendation of Economic and Finance SPC on City Hall and Council Chamber Security Recommendations was referred to Administration to prepare and present a comprehensive report to Council at closed session at the May 27 meeting
