• Lethbridge City Council voted 6-2 in favour of cancelling the proposed Capital Project 18 Street Functional Planning & Design Study (also known as the Winston Churchill to Sugar Bowl Functional Plan) and to not bring this project to the next Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget deliberations later this year. • Council voted 7-2 to carry second and third readings for Bylaw 6518 – Procedure Bylaw Amendment, which is in relation to a return to the Community Issues Committee model. A related Motion Arising, with an updated meeting calendar showing a transition period with existing Standing Policy Committee meetings through May, then moving into CIC meetings, carried 6-2
• Council voted 8-1 to refer a proposed OBM from Deputy Mayor Jenn Schmidt-Rempel as a new initiative to the 2027 Operating Budget deliberations in June 2026 for consideration by Council
• Council voted 6-2 in favour of an updated City Council Strategic Planning Process
