- Lethbridge City Council voted 6-2 in favour of an Official Business Motion from Councillor Rajko Dodic to refer First Reading of the proposed Phase 1 amendments to Land Use Bylaw 6300 to Administration for incorporation into the new proposed Land Use Bylaw, to be presented for Council’s consideration by Q2 2026 or as soon as possible, thereafter.
- Council voted unanimously in favour of an Official Business Motion from Acting Mayor John Middleton-Hope to approve a one-day lawlessness workshop to be hosted in Lethbridge and authorize the mayor to extend invitations to delegations from other mid-sized Alberta cities to attend. This will include up to $2,500 from Mayor and Council’s operating budget allocation for costs related to hosting the event.
- Council voted unanimously in support of an Administration Submission on Forest Resource Improvement Association of Alberta (FRIAA) Grant Application – Wildfire Preparedness Plan. This will approve expenditures of $50,000 in FRIAA FireSmart grant funding to complete the Wildfire Preparedness Plan, should the City of Lethbridge successfully obtain the funding.
- With approval of the Consent Agenda, Council voted in favour of the following items: Los Amigos Project - Rotary Club of Lethbridge Sunrise, Water and Wastewater CIP Amendment, Targeted Redevelopment Incentive Policy Municipal Incentive - 413 5 Street South and Community Wellbeing and Safety Strategy - Family and Community Support Services Allocation Request
