- Lethbridge City Council voted unanimously in favour to accept a verbal presentation on City of Lethbridge Critical Water Infrastructure
- Council voted unanimously in favour to direct Administration to finalize planning and logistics for Council Strategic Planning in 2026, with Lethbridge as the location and using internal resources as well as funding redirected from the unspent allocations in the 2024-2025 Council Travel Budget
- Council voted unanimously in favour to authorize the Mayor to write a letter to the Honourable Sean Fraser, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, that advocates and supports the Alberta Provincial Government’s position to enhance and prioritize public safety, increase accountability and address specific crime trends by accelerating bail reform Bill C-14
- Council carried second and third readings for Bylaw 6511 – Downtown Business Improvement Area Tax Bylaw
- As part of the Consent Agenda approval, first reading was carried for Bylaw 6518 – Procedure Bylaw Amendment. This is related to the proposal to move to Community Issues Committee. Second and third readings will be scheduled for the February 10 City Council meeting
- Following Public Hearings for each, second and third readings were passed for:
- Bylaw 6507 – Amendment to Bylaw 5115 – The Specialist Offices Plan re: 1905 10 Avenue South
- Bylaw 6506 – Land Use Bylaw Amendment re: 1905 10 Avenue South
- Bylaw 6509 – Land Use Bylaw Amendment re: 110 Sunridge Rd W
- Bylaw 6513 – Land Use Bylaw Amendment re: 915 15 Street South
