- Per Lethbridge City Council’s direction and decision, the City of Lethbridge will not accept Emergency Health Services (EHS) – Alberta’s new contract conditions due to the significant financial impact it would have on Lethbridge taxpayers. However, the City is keeping the door open for further discussions or a future procurement process that could allow Lethbridge to continue its integrated Fire and EMS model. - Council voted to refer a proposed Official Business Motion from Councillor Crowson, Confirming Council’s Confidence in the Lethbridge Public Library, its Board and Staff, to the July 7 Community Issues Committee meeting
- As part of the Consent Agenda approval, Council approved a Recommendation of Community Issues Committee - Tax and Assessment Notices Report
- Following Public Hearings, Council carried second and third readings for both Bylaw 6522- Land Use Bylaw Amendment re: 1330 Abitibi Rd W and 1025 30 St W and Bylaw 6523 – Amendment To Bylaw 6265 – Municipal Development Plan
