Emergency crews respond to several weekend incidents

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services were busy on Sunday, April 30.

At 1:45 pm, fire crews from two stations responded to a vehicle fire on the northside. The fire was extinguished quickly with no extension to any surrounding buildings. No injuries were reported.

At 3:30 p.m., fire and EMS crews responded to reports of a motor vehicle collision involving the Servus Sports Centre. Crews found a car had collided with the building, causing moderate damage to the building. No injuries were reported.

At 4:30 p.m., fire crews, including HAZMAT technicians, from two stations responded to a small fuel leak from a pickup truck on the southside. Crews were able to mitigate the situation with minimal involvement to the environment. No injuries were reported.
