Father’s Day tradition continues at Mountain View Cemetery

The City of Lethbridge Parks & Cemeteries team is carrying on a meaningful Father’s Day tradition.

In recognition of loved ones who have passed, visitors to Mountain View Cemetery will receive a complimentary flower.

This program launched in 2018, when flowers were offered on both Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. It was warmly received, and staff are happy to continue offering it. Father’s Day is typically a well-attended day at the cemetery, and the team hopes this small gesture adds to the experience.

Flowers will be given to the first 250 visitors who stop by the cemetery office at 1210 Scenic Drive South. Flowers will be available on Sunday, June 21, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., while supplies last.
