Free compost, household hazardous waste roundup coming next week

Environment Week is right around the corner! To celebrate, the City of Lethbridge’s Waste & Environment department is hosting two events to help residents prepare their gardens and declutter their homes.

Compost & Mulch Giveaway

Come collect free compost and mulch! This event runs while supplies last. Residents must bring their own shovel, gloves and containers. Maximum 40 litres of compost and 40 litres of mulch per household.

Beyond-the-Bin Recycling Roundup 

Need to get rid of tricky household waste, like aerosol cans, used oil, paint, batteries and electronics? Bring it all to our Beyond-the-Bin Recycling Roundup!

• Park Place Mall (501 1 Avenue South), northwest parking lot
