Garage and vehicle fire under investigation
Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to a garage and vehicle fire on Sunday, August 31, after receiving multiple 9-1-1 calls at approximately 12 p.m.
When crews arrived in the alley behind the 300 block of 19 Street North, they found heavy smoke and active flames. Two stations responded, with 15 firefighters working quickly to bring the fire under control and prevent it from spreading to nearby homes.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire and the estimated dollar loss are still being determined. The incident remains under investigation.
