The day begins with a free community feast, including Indigenous tacos. A concession is also available throughout the day, with proceeds going towards the Interfaith Food Bank. Other activities include:
- Live bands
- Traditional dancers and drumming
- Renowned Canadian puppet Emery Burningrass
- Teepee Village
- Indigenous Village and Artisan Market
For the complete schedule and list of vendors, follow Reconciliation Lethbridge on Facebook.
Other community events will also mark NIPD 2025.

From 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. enjoy workshops, special event programming and stories about the Blackfoot people, the Métis, and early settlers. And be sure to say hello to resident donkeys Jackie and Fernando! (Some events may be impacted by the expected rain and wind.)
