Giving Lethbridge youth a full-court boost

Members of Lethbridge first responders are teaming up again with the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns to support local youth. It’s a simple partnership with a big community impact.

The Pronghorns, in partnership with Building Safer Communities (BSC), are hosting a basketball camp for youth aged 12-17. This event is completely free; all that’s required is a quick registration.

Date: March 28th, 2026
Time: 1 – 3 p.m.
Location: University of Lethbridge, Co-op Centre for Sports & Wellness, 4401 University Drive West

The two-hour camp is led by Pronghorns athletes. To sign-up, please complete this fillable registration form and email it to buildingsafercommunities@lethbridge.ca.

This project is part of the Off the Record (OTR) program. It’s a youth‑focused effort that helps young people build positive relationships with first responders in Lethbridge. OTR gives kids safe places to learn new skills and connect with trusted adults. The goal is to support youth early, strengthen our community and help prevent problems before they start.
