Holiday Bus 'Wrapped': 2025 Edition
While Santa was busy checking his list, the Holiday Bus was making stops around town. Decked out in dazzling lights and brimming with holiday spirit, it helped spark the magic of the season in many ways.
Partnering with local organizations, the Holiday Bus appeared at a handful of local events in November and December. It invited community members to contribute to the Christmas Hope Campaign and help make the holidays brighter for those in need.

“We’re humbled by the generosity of our community and beyond grateful to everyone who donated to the Christmas Hope Campaign this season,” says Joseph Bompiani, Operations Manager, Lethbridge Transit. “The Holiday Bus is a really fun and festive way to introduce residents to Lethbridge Transit while also giving back to the community.”
Food, cash and toys dropped off at the Holiday Bus were donated to the partnering organizations of the Christmas Hope Campaign. Donations included:
- 1,500 lbs. of food – five times more than the previous year
- $300 in cash
- Nearly 70 new toys for youth
“The Holiday Bus brought so much joy to the Christmas Hope Campaign and offered a special and meaningful way for the community to support our efforts to help those in need,” says Danielle McIntyre, Executive Director of Interfaith Food Bank. “Lighting up the city with its beautiful display of colour, the bus helped make the holidays brighter for everyone and collect an incredible range of donations.”
The Holiday Bus made a total of five stops on its tour of the city: VisitLethbridge.com Arena, Nikka Yuko Japanese Gardens, Lethbridge Trade and Convention Centre, Downtown Festival Square and Save-On-Foods North.
“We want to extend our sincere gratitude to all the community partners, residents and visitors who helped us spread a little joy these holidays,” says Bompiani. “We’re already eagerly anticipating the return of the Holiday Bus next season.”
In addition to collecting donations, Lethbridge Transit staff brought plenty of cheer, handing out candy canes and free transit passes to visitors.
