A cherished Lethbridge Mother’s Day tradition returns for 2026.

The Parks & Cemeteries team will once again be offering complimentary roses to visitors at Mountain View Cemetery.

This gesture, first introduced in 2018 for both Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, has become a meaningful way for families to mark the occasion. Mother’s Day remains one of the cemetery’s busiest days, and staff are grateful to continue supporting the community as they remember loved ones and celebrate life.

The first 300 visitors are invited to pick up a rose near the Mountain View Cemetery office at 1210 Scenic Drive South. Flowers will be available on Sunday, May 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., or while supplies last.

Complimentary flowers will also be offered on Father’s Day, which falls on Sunday, June 21.
