Information for local Remembrance Day ceremonies
The public is invited to join veterans and dignitaries in a raising of the poppy flag at 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 4, outside Lethbridge City Hall.
This will be followed by the official unveiling of the Veteran Commemorative Crosswalk located across from the Cenotaph.
On Tuesday, November 11, the Lethbridge Remembrance Day Committee has two concurrent 2025 Lethbridge Remembrance Day Services:
- The 2025 Remembrance Day Parade and Service will be hosted by the General Stewart Branch #4 of the Royal Canadian Legion at Lethbridge Trade & Convention Centre. This is an indoor event with Legion members, veterans, first responders, dignitaries and youth. Doors open at 10 a.m. with seating completed by 10:30 a.m. The ceremony will start at 10:45 a.m.
 - The 20th Independent Field Battery will host an outdoor event at 10:45 a.m. at the Cenotaph on Veterans Avenue (4 Avenue South) in front of the Yates Memorial Centre. There are scheduled fly-bys by both a Harvard IV and a C-17 Globemaster (depending on weather and operational requirements) by the 429 Transport Squadron (Royal Canadian Air Force).
 
The Lethbridge Military Museum will be open with free admission on Tuesday, November 11, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. It is located at the Vimy Ridge Armoury near Lethbridge Airport.
