Intersection improvement program continues tomorrow
Key mobility, safety and efficiency upgrades are coming to an intersection near you!

The City of Lethbridge’s annual intersection improvement program continues with three more projects. It focuses on addressing capacity requirements, enhancing safety and reducing congestion in existing areas of the city.
Beginning tomorrow, July 24, construction starts on the following intersections:
Garry Drive West at West Highlands Centre (Expected completion August 21)
- Overhead Rapid Rectangular Flashing Beacons (RRFB) crossing
Tudor Boulevard & Kings Crescent South (Expected completion August 7)
- Median upgrade
Fairmont Boulevard & Fairmont Gate South (Expected completion August 21)
- Median upgrade
All completion dates are approximate and subject to change due to weather or other circumstances.
Minimal traffic disruptions are expected. To keep construction crews safe, motorists are reminded to drive with caution and follow all detours and posted signage.
