Moonlight Run road closures and transit impacts

The 2026 Runner’s Soul Moonlight Run is taking place Saturday, March 21.

To help ensure the safety of all participants, the following traffic changes will take effect throughout the day:

• 7 a.m. – 8 Street South closed from 2 Avenue to 3 Avenue 
• 12 p.m. – No parking on 3 Avenue South, from Scenic Drive to 8 Street 
• 6 p.m. – 3 Avenue South closed from Scenic Drive to 8 Street 
• 7 p.m. – Scenic Drive South closed from 1 Avenue to 4 Avenue 

Access for local traffic will be maintained via 1 Avenue South. These roads will all reopen by midnight. 

Lethbridge Transit service will also be impacted on Saturday. Temporary stops will be in effect from 5 p.m. until midnight for the following buses: 

• 1 Gold 
• 2 Blue 
• 60C 

Transit passengers can check route detours on MyRide. 

Motorists are kindly asked to drive with caution near the event area and follow all posted signage and detours.
