Reconciliation Week 2025 events
Reconciliation Week in Lethbridge kicks off September 22, and there are plenty of opportunities throughout the week to come together, learn and reflect as a community.

Opening Ceremonies
Join us outside City Hall at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 22, for the official opening ceremonies. The event will feature a traditional blessing and welcome messages from Indigenous Elders and community leaders.
Indigenous Colouring & Activity Book
As part of the week’s events, the City of Lethbridge is putting together an Indigenous Colouring and Activity Book to celebrate the vibrant cultures, languages and traditions of Indigenous Peoples. We’re inviting submissions from artists, educators, language keepers and community members of all backgrounds. Contributions can include original illustrations, puzzles or activities - bonus points for including Indigenous word translations!
Selected submissions will receive a $100 honorarium. The book is non-commercial and will be used for educational purposes only. Deadline to submit is October 31, 2025. Send your ideas to: Indigenousrelations@lethbridge.ca.
