Residential Parking Permits up for annual renewal

Everyone who has permits in Residential Parking Permit (RPP) areas will need to renew them soon.

Permits for Zone 12 – the London Road area – expire May 1, so those residents can now renew to avoid parking violations.

Permits are only required for streets that have parking time restrictions on them. Please check this map to see if your street is within Zone 12.

New permits for 2026/2027 can be collected at the Parking Operations office at 705 - 5 Avenue South during business hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday.

To renew an RPP, you will be required to produce:

  • Registration of each vehicle showing registrant’s name and address
  • Proof of residency, which could be government-issued ID, lease agreement, utility bill, etc.

The City of Lethbridge will also plan to issue RPP renewal notification reminders in the Lethbridge Loop app.

Residents in Zones 13, 14 and 15 have expiration dates of:

  • Zone 13: June 1
  • Zone 14: July 1
  • Zone 15: September 1
