Road closures and detours during Pride Parade this Saturday

The annual Pride Parade in downtown Lethbridge is tomorrow, June 28. 

The parade starts at 11 a.m. on Stafford Drive South, next to the Civic Ice Centre, and ends on 5 Street South, on the west side of Galt Gardens. 

The following roads along the parade route will close at 9:30 a.m. and reopen at approximately 1 p.m.: 

• Stafford Drive South, from 3 Avenue to 6 Avenue 
• 3 Avenue South, from 5 Street to Stafford Drive 
• 5 Street South, from 2 Avenue to 3 Avenue 

Residents can view road closures and updates on the WebMap. If you’re planning to attend, allow for additional time to commute and follow all posted detours and signage. 

Following the parade, Pride in the Park will feature live entertainment, food trucks, beer gardens and more in Galt Gardens. For event information and details, visit the Lethbridge Pride Fest Society’s website.
