Southside house fire early Tuesday morning

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to a house fire in the 800 block of 18 Street South just after 2 a.m. on Tuesday, November 7.

Upon arrival, crews were met with visible smoke coming from the building. Firefighters established a water supply and went to an offensive mode. The fire was quickly knocked down and a search was completed in the basement suite and the upper suite.

No injuries to occupants or firefighters were reported.

The damage estimate is between $150,000-$175,000 and the cause is under investigation.
