Southside structure fire under investigation

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to a structure fire in a backyard at the 1200 block of 8 Avenue South at 2:40 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2024.  

Fire crews from four stations arrived to find a shed in the backyard engulfed in flames. Seventeen firefighters quickly had the fire under control. No injuries were reported. The fire was contained to the shed with light smoke damage to the home. 

The fire is under investigation. The damage is estimated between $5,000 and $10,000.
