Splash season starts this long weekend!

Get ready to spray, splash and smile… because Lethbridge spray parks are ready to open!

The water starts flowing on Friday, May 15. There are three locations ready to host your water fights:

Legacy Spray Park 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
The city’s largest splash zone is back with full hours. Located in north Legacy Park, it features three fun areas: a tot zone, a family zone and a dedicated space for kids aged five to 12.

Rotary Centennial Fountain (Galt Gardens) 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
A whopping 97 synchronized jets dance with music and lights perfect for cooling off or enjoying the show.

Gyro Spray Park 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Gyro is located behind Nicholas Sheran Leisure Centre. It’s designed for kids of all ages and features multiple combinations of water nozzles.

Both Gyro and Rotary will open with shortened hours to support ongoing voluntary water conservation. Most of the water used at Legacy and Rotary is cleaned and recycled, but that is not the case at Gyro. If further water conservation efforts are required in the coming weeks and months, hours at Gyro may be further reduced or closed. On the other hand, depending on weather and water‑use needs, hours may also be extended later in the season.

All spray parks rely on safe, suitable and… of course... warm weather. If the forecast high is below 15°C, parks will not open that day. If conditions turn rainy or windy, the parks may close with short notice for safety.

The spray parks are free of charge and will remain open through the Labour Day long weekend - or as long as Mother Nature allows!
