Street Wheelers road closures

Street Wheelers returns to Lethbridge this weekend.

Residents should plan ahead for several temporary road closures, potential transit delays and traffic impacts.

Controlled Cruise

Several road closures will be in place on Friday, July 10:

• 3 Avenue South from 5 Street South to 20 Street South
• 8 Street South from 1 Avenue South to 3 Avenue South
• 1 Avenue South from 5 Street South to 8 Street South
• 5 Street South from 1 Avenue South to 3 Avenue South
• 20 Street South from 2 Avenue South to 3 Avenue South
• 19 Street South from 2 Avenue South to 3 Avenue South
• 2 Avenue South from 19 Street South to 20 Street South

Road closures will begin at 6 p.m. and should reopen by midnight. Some roads near the route will also be marked as local/business traffic only. Parking restrictions will also be in place along the route from 5 p.m. - midnight.

If you're heading through Stafford Drive South or 13 Street South give yourself a few extra minutes. Traffic could be slower than usual during the cruise.

Show and Shine

Galt Gardens hosts the Show and Shine on Sunday, July 12.

The following roads will be closed from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.:

• 5 Street South from 1 Avenue South to 3 Avenue South
• 3 Avenue South from 5 Street South to 7 Street South
