The outdoor splashing season is being extended!

Just because the kiddos return to school next week doesn’t mean summer is officially over!

With hot temperatures forecast to extend into early September, there’s still time to cool off. Both Henderson Outdoor Pool and Legacy Spray Park will remain open until Sunday, September 7.

Gyro Spray Park and Rotary Centennial Fountain will close on Tuesday, September 2.

And, a paws-itively fun annual tradition returns to Westminster Outdoor Public Pool. The final public swim is on Saturday, August 30. Then, the humans are kicked out and the pool goes to the dogs! The Paws in the Pool dog swim is on Sunday, August 31. The annual event is from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and raises money for the Lethbridge and District Humane Society. More details are on the society’s Facebook page.

We hope everyone enjoys the final days of summer, and that you had a great season swimming, diving and splashing at the City’s outdoor pools!
