Three homes damaged in southside structure fire

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to a structure fire in the 4500 block of 28 Avenue South at approximately 7:30 a.m. on June 9.

Fire crews from four stations were dispatched after a fire started in the garage of one home. The residents quickly called 9-1-1 and safely evacuated. 

The fire spread from the first home to an adjacent residence, causing significant damage to both homes. A third residence sustained heat-related damage. No injuries were reported. 

Fire investigators remain on scene and are working to determine the origin and cause of the fire.
