Traffic signal box replacements on Mayor Magrath Drive South

Starting the morning of Thursday, August 28, City of Lethbridge crews will be replacing traffic signal boxes at the intersection of Mayor Magrath Drive and 14 Avenue. 

Mayor Magrath Drive will remain fully open but other closures and traffic impacts will be in effect: 

• No access to Mayor Magrath Drive from 14 Avenue 
• No left turn from Mayor Magrath Drive onto 14 Avenue 
• No left turn from westbound 14 Avenue (service road) onto southbound Mayor Magrath Drive, and no traffic across Mayor Magrath Drive 

Weather permitting, this work is scheduled to be completed by the end of the day. 

Motorists are encouraged to drive carefully and follow all posted signage to keep crews and other commuters safe.
