Utilities work impacting motorists and pedestrians

Excavation work is impacting downtown motorists and pedestrians this week.

Beginning Wednesday, March 11, the following closures are in place:

• The westbound driving lane in the 700 block of 2 Avenue South.
• A sidewalk closure on the south side in the 700 block of 2 Avenue South.
• A sidewalk closure on the west side in the 200 block of 8 Street South.
• Nine parking stalls on the north side in the 700 block of 2 Avenue South.

The work should be complete by March 17, weather permitting.

Please follow all posted signage and slow down near the work area.
