Every two weeks, Tyler Branson and Jin Kim unhook their small boat and take to Henderson Lake. Although they both love being on the water, this isn’t a pleasure cruise. It’s serious work: ensuring the lake is safe for public use.

You might notice some activity around our stormwater ponds over the coming days. It’s all part of keeping Lethbridge’s waterways clean and healthy.

Keeping cool and safe in Indian Battle Park has never been… cooler!

The Parks team is excited to announce four new public water faucets. The auto-shutoff taps are located on the exteriors of the park’s four washroom buildings. These water stations are part of our ongoing efforts to improve park amenities and promote public health and safety.

Two water-related projects, on 13 Street North and 5 Avenue North, may impact northside commuters. 

The City is advising residents to exercise caution when using the river near Peenaquim Dog Park over the next 24 hours. 

The multi-year effort to replace 10,000 manually read water meters resumes this week. The neighbourhood-by-neighbourhood project continues in the west Lethbridge community of Heritage Heights on Wednesday, April 2.

City crews are repairing a watermain in the 1200 Block of 6 Avenue South. 

The work area has closed the inner eastbound and westbound lanes. Outer lanes in both directions remain open at this time, but the closure may be extended into both westbound lanes if required.
