Annual funding window open for non-profit upgrades
Fresh opportunities are available for Lethbridge organizations ready to grow their impact!

The annual Community Capital Projects Grant (CCPG) is now accepting applications. The CCPG gives non‑profit organizations funding to upgrade facilities and equipment. Focus is placed on projects that build a more inclusive and accessible community.
The two 2026 funding streams remain the same as previous years:
Stream A: Planning Assistance
- Provides funding for early-stage planning and design work. This includes environmental reviews, geotechnical assessments and preliminary design or feasibility work.
- Offers up to $25,000 or 50 per cent of eligible project costs, whichever amount is lower.
Stream B: Capital Assistance
- Helps organizations move forward with construction and facility improvements. This includes additions, upgrades, retrofits, technology enhancements and major equipment needs.
- Provides up to $200,000 or one-third of total project costs, whichever is the lesser amount.
The application deadline for the CCPG program is March 31.
As CCPG applications open, another grant window is set to close. The first of three intakes for the Community Event Support Grant (CESG) closes January 31 at 11:59 p.m. The CESG helps nonprofit groups create new events, or sustain existing ones, that add vibrancy and value to Lethbridge. It supports initiatives that enhance quality of life, strengthen community culture, offer affordable entertainment and provide economic benefits. It does not fund ongoing organizational operations. More information is available in the CESG application guide.
