Application deadline looming for 2024 Community Capital Projects Grant

Not-for-profit organizations are being urged to complete their applications for the 2024 Community Capital Projects Grant (CCPG) ahead of the March 31 deadline. The Grant provides financial assistance for non-profits to construct, renovate or retrofit facilities, or purchase major equipment required for effective operation of community facilities and services.

Funding is available in two streams:

  • Stream A covers professional services for planning and design phases.
  • Stream B funds the actual construction, renovation or retrofitting of facilities. As a fun bonus, stream B can also be used to acquire major equipment or enhance facility technology.

All grant projects must also be eligible on a matched-grant basis, meaning the organization must be able to secure additional sources of funds to complete the project. One-half of approved Stream A project costs can come from CCPG (to a maximum of $25,000 per project) while one-third of approved Stream B project costs can come from CCPG (to a maximum of $200,000 per project). Eligible projects can only apply in one stream per grant funding period.
