Biweekly green cart collection begins November 3

As cooler weather sets in, the City of Lethbridge is reminding residents to roll out their green carts every two weeks until spring.

Starting tomorrow, November 3, green cart collection will shift to a biweekly schedule. The seasonal approach to organics collection helps manage higher volumes of yard waste and reduce odours during warmer months.

We are aware of an issue with the Waste Wizard and Lethbridge Loop app not displaying green cart collection dates. We are working to resolve this as soon as possible. To view your collection schedule, visit the Composting and Green Carts webpage or contact 311 during business hours.

The Curbside Battery Collection Program is returning soon to help residents safely dispose of household batteries. On your green cart collection day, between November 17-27, place your bagged batteries on the lid of your green cart. Please do not put them out for collection before the program begins.
