Canada Day 2026
It’s not very often you get to throw a 159th birthday party… so let’s do it in style!

The City of Lethbridge and Excite Lethbridge are once again collaborating to throw a July 1 bash worthy of 159 years. Beginning at 12 p.m., the kids zone takes over Henderson Lake Park, while the main stage and food truck alley return to Excite Lethbridge. For those needing an earlier break from the heat, head indoors at 11 a.m. to check out the community band, concessions and a bouncy castle for the kids.
The crowd-favourite fireworks will also blast off above Henderson Lake at 11 p.m., weather permitting.

Party in the Park also returns to Galt Gardens. Grab a breakfast sandwich to benefit the Interfaith Food Bank, check out some awesome rides at the Le Barons Car Club car show, enjoy tipi & Indigenous education and much more. It all begins at 9 a.m.
Grab your red and white, bring your shade umbrella, lawn chair and national pride, and get ready to celebrate - because Canada only turns 159 once!
