• Council supported an Official Business Motion from Councillor Mark Campbell, which will permit the Citizens of Lethbridge Urban Chicken Club Presentation to be heard at a future Safety and Social SPC meeting. Health experts will also be invited to speak to any benefits and detriments to urban hen farming
• With approval of the Consent Agenda, the following items were passed:

• Recommendation of Economic and Finance SPC - Tourism Lethbridge Annual Update 2025
• Recommendation of Economic and Finance SPC - Asset Management Strategy
• Recommendation of Economic and Finance SPC - Economic Development Strategy and Future Investment Incentives Program Workshop. Council has directed Administration to incorporate the outcomes from the workshop into the update to the City’s Economic Development Strategy and return to a future 2026 public Economic SPC by Q3 2026, as well as host a community stakeholders workshop and undertake a community stakeholder survey
• Recommendation of Economic and Finance SPC - Economic Development Services (Economic Development Lethbridge Fee for Service Cost Benefit Analysis Review) – Workshop. Council has directed Administration to develop an additional Economic Development Lethbridge Fee for Service Cost Benefit Analysis Review workshop based on the outcomes of this discussion, which would include Council’s expectations for service delivery, at the July 10 Economic and Finance SPC meeting

• A Recommendation of Economic and Finance SPC - Bylaw 6494, Amendment to Bylaw 3999 – The Water Service Bylaw – 2025 carried first reading
• A Recommendation of Economic and Finance SPC - Bylaw 6498 - Water Treatment Plant Process Redundancy Project carried first reading
• A Recommendation of Economic and Finance SPC - Bylaw 6499 - Water Treatment Plant Medium Voltage Upgrades Project carried first reading
