• Lethbridge City Council voted unanimously in favour on an Official Business Motion from Mayor Blaine Hyggen regarding Green Shirt Day 2025. Mayor Hyggen says he wants to keep bringing this item to Council annually, rather than as a one-time declaration, to continually highlight Logan’s impact and the importance of talking to your family about becoming an organ donor. • Council voted unanimously in favour on an Official Business Motion from Councillor Belinda Crowson regarding a City of Lethbridge Tartan Bulk Order
• After being pulled from Consent Agenda, a Recommendation of Economic & Finance SPC – Lethbridge and District Exhibition Monthly Financial Reporting was defeated 5-4. This means the LDE will continue with monthly financial reporting, rather than the proposed move to quarterly reporting
• Council voted unanimously in favour on an Administration Submission for the 2024 Lethbridge Electric Utility (AUC) Compliance Report
• Following a Public Hearing, Council carried second and third readings for Bylaw 6480 - A Bylaw to Provide for the Closing of Certain Road
• As part of the Consent Agenda approval, the following items were carried:

• Recommendation of Audit SPC - CC65-Financial Reserves Policy
• Recommendation of Audit SPC - Lethbridge Police Services Technology Fund
• Recommendation of Audit SPC - Unaudited 2024 Year End Financial Information
• Recommendation of Economic & Finance SPC - Downtown Lethbridge Business Revitalization Zone 2025 Budget

• Also as part of the Consent Agenda approval, these Bylaws each carried first reading.

• Bylaw 6479 – Land Use Bylaw Amendment re: Watermark Phase 1 (4015 25 St. W, 4040 10 St. W, 277 Rocky Mountain Blvd. W, 301 Rocky Mountain Blvd. W, 317 Rocky Mountain Blvd. W And 6000 University Dr W)
• Bylaw 6485 – Land Use Bylaw Amendment re: 1703 16 Avenue South
• Bylaw 6487 – Area Redevelopment Plan Amendment re: River Valley ARP
• Bylaw 6472 – Land Use Bylaw Amendment re: Riverstone Phases 18 & 19
• Public Hearings for each of these matters will be held at 3 p.m. on April 29, 2025
