Help preserve Lethbridge's historic places landscape

Are you passionate or knowledgeable about local history?

The City of Lethbridge's Historic Places Advisory Committee is recruiting one citizen at large. The successful applicant will be appointed for a voluntary three-year term.

The purpose of the committee is to advise City Administration on matters relating to locally important historic places and the implementation of the Heritage Management Plan.

It also makes recommendations on:

  • The historical significance of a site
  • The integrity of the site’s historically significant features
  • A site’s potential to be designated as a Municipal Historic Resource
  • The acceptability of any significant proposed interventions to a designated Municipal Historic Resource

Apply to join the Historic Places Advisory Committee and help advocate for the historic places that connect our city's past, present and future. Applications close Sunday, October 25.
