Lift station maintenance will impact 5 Avenue North

Motorists will want to plan ahead for a slowdown along a busy north Lethbridge route.

The eastbound lanes of 5 Avenue North, from 36 Street to 39 Street, will close on Tuesday morning. The closures help facilitate repairs and maintenance to a lift station in the area.

Two-way traffic will be maintained in the westbound lanes, with a speed reduction in place to keep everyone safe.

The work is scheduled to be done by October 23, weather permitting.
