Pedestrian access to Whoop-Up Drive pathway to be impacted

If you’re looking to access the Whoop-Up Drive pedestrian pathway via Scenic Drive South, some changes will be in effect for the next several weeks. 

As part of the ongoing interchange improvement project, the crosswalk at southbound Scenic Drive onto westbound Whoop-Up Drive will be closed. The pedestrian pathway along Scenic Drive, from 4 Street South all the way to the crosswalk, will also be closed. 

A pedestrian detour will be in place to access the Whoop-Up Drive pedestrian path from the south. From the intersection of Scenic Drive and 4 Street South: 

• Go north on 4 Street South to 6 Avenue South
• East on 6 Avenue South to 5 Street South
• North on 5 Street South to 5 Avenue South
• West on 5 Avenue South to Scenic Drive South – then head south to access the Whoop-Up Drive pathway going to the west side

Signage will be in place throughout the area to guide pedestrians during this closure.

Work for the Scenic Drive interchange project continues for Phases One, Two, Four and Five.
