Residential structure fire under investigation

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services responded to a residential structure fire at Squamish Boulevard West at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Monday, September 9, 2024.

Crews from five fire stations attended the scene, where they encountered a house fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters worked quickly to bring the blaze under control, preventing it from spreading beyond the property of origin. 

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Initial damage is estimated at $360,000.
