River Valley fire ban lifted

The River Valley Fire Ban in Lethbridge has been lifted, effective immediately. Recent precipitation, cooler temperatures and higher humidity levels have reduced the fire risk in this area.
While conditions have improved, residents are reminded to continue using caution. When having a recreational fire:
- Use clean, dry wood only
- Keep fires small and supervised at all times
- Ensure the fire is fully extinguished before leaving the area
Residents are also reminded to be extra cautious when disposing of smoking materials.
