Service Level Changes for Canada Day

Tuesday, July 1 is Canada Day. The City of Lethbridge will have service level changes.

Lethbridge 311

The Lethbridge 311 contact centre will be closed. Regular hours will resume on Wednesday, July 2, from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

311 in person at City Hall will be closed. Regular hours will resume on Wednesday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Waste and Recycling

The Waste and Recycling Centre will be closed. Recycling and yard waste dropoff depots are open from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Residents who have residential curbside organics, recycling or garbage collection on Tuesdays are moved to Saturday, July 5.

Pools & Arenas

Community Animal Services

Community Animal Services and the Lethbridge Animal Shelter will be closed.

The public can access services on the website at any time including dog license payments, appointment booking, online complaint reporting and searching a list of found pets impounded at the shelter. For emergency animal control matters, call 403-320-4099.

Transit Service

Ride on Demand and Fixed Route transit schedules will run on Sunday service and will be free of charge all day. More information on Canada Day transit route and schedules (including extended service to Henderson Lake Park) can be found online.

The Lethbridge Transit customer service desk at City Centre station will be closed.

Access-A-Ride

Access-A-Ride booking and customer service will be closed.

Galt Museum & Archives/Fort Whoop-Up

The Galt Museum is open from 1 – 5 p.m.

Fort Whoop-Up is open from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Helen Schuler Nature Centre

The Helen Schuler Nature Centre is closed.

Lethbridge Public Library

All branches of the Lethbridge Public Library are closed.
