Temporary four-way stop coming to Scenic Drive, 4 Avenue South intersection this week

To accommodate traffic signal upgrades, the busy downtown intersection at Scenic Drive South and 4 Avenue South will feature a temporary four-way stop on Wednesday, August 5, and Thursday, August 6. this week.

The work will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each of the two days, weather permitting. Temporary traffic control will be in place during those hours. The traffic lights will run normally overnight.

Please follow all posted signage and slow down near the intersection. 

This is part of the Scenic Drive interchange project, where work continues for Phases One, Two, Four and Five.
