Vandalism causing irrigation issues at Legacy Park

We want to make residents aware of a vandalism issue affecting the irrigation system at Legacy Park.

Some residents have asked why the sprinklers were running during the recent rain event. Normally, our irrigation team adjusts or turns off watering when it rains. However, people have been breaking into the irrigation control boxes and turning the water on, including this past weekend. This not only wastes water but also damages the system and leads to more repairs.

To help stop this, we’re adding lock boxes to better protect the controls. We want to reassure the community that we take water use seriously and follow proper procedures.
